Groomer/Store Supervisor

Responsible For

Providing a wide range of grooming services such as clipping, trimming, washing, and treatments such as teeth cleaning and various other duties. Also, responsible for the quality control of the shop and the oversight of other associates and their assigned duties and the implementation of training from upper managements direction.

Skills, Competencies, and Job Duties

• Perform skilled grooms on all dogs of all breeds, in accordance to with common grooming practices and hold other groomers to the same standard.
• Responsible for performing duties in a professional protective manner to achieve and maintain high quality care of all kenneled animals and providing excellent customer service to the public.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every pet and associate in the store, taking immediate action when necessary.
• Oversee the daily operations of staff and direct staff to ensure quality service and care of animals.
• Ensure employees adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Implements productivity standards, resolves operation problems, and implements new policy standards set forth by upper management.
• Comply with all rules and regulations to ensure efficiency and productivity of all staff members.
• Perform all other duties assigned by upper management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with other groomers
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work on a team
• Great Communication skills
